Laura Vicuna School
Laura Vicuna School opened officially in October 1970. Each year a class was added until 1978 when the school offered classes from Kindergarten to Year 6.
Presently, the head of school is Sister Antoinette Pace. The school emphasizes a lot the religious upbringing of the children in a Salesian manner as thought by St. John Bosco – the founder of the Salesian Congregation.
The school is run by Salesian Sisters, known also as Figlie di Maria Ausiliatrice (Daughters of Mary Help of Christians) - founded by St. Maria Domenica Mazzarello.
The school is named after Laura Vicuna, an exemplarily Salesian student known for her sainthood.
